Doncaster City Church is a contemporary Christian Church in Doncaster, Melbourne. Pastored by Seka Keillor and her husband Ray, we are a church that believes in the simply powerful message of Jesus. It is sometimes not easy to visit a new church for the first time, so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a memorable one. Our Sunday services include worship, offering, a message, communion and tea and coffee following.
“To be an influence in our community by being known for the power of God at work in our people’s lives”.
Loving God and one another as we grow in Him and reach the needy. Our beliefs are in line with the Australian Christian Churches Statement of Belief – https://www.acc.org.au/about-us/
This is a personal time for you and God to communicate. We have a worship band with upbeat praise and worship, as well as more intimate songs of worship. People worship in their own way – for many, that means singing and clapping and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to worship in whatever manner you are comfortable with.
DCC is a very giving church. Each week we worship God with tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular congregation, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives DCC the means to reach more people for Christ both in Australia and Internationally.
THE MESSAGE (SERMON)
Every service you will hear a relevant message that is based on Scripture and will be helpful in everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life. Listen to older messages.
Twice a month, we celebrate communion together. The juice and bread we eat represent the life Jesus gave to forgive us.
AFTER THE SERVICE
After the service feel free to stay and grab a cup of coffee or tea and chat with some of our church members.
